In 1915 a humble course with major aspirations rolled out on the south edge of Swope Park.  The designer, "Donald Ross - a.k.a. The Donald to his friends who know him only through his architecture - always seems to be the fifth man in the foursome on any of his courses.  Like the guy who coughs when you're about to putt or shifts the cart into whining reverse when you're in the middle of your downswing, the Donald always makes his presence known." 

Sitting at the highest point in Jackson County and overlooking Swope Park with views of Downtown Kansas City sits this Ross gem that is in the midst of an incredible transformation.  For years, thousands have remarked on its character, beauty and above all its challenge.  Today, it's being reimagined in the spirit of the modern game of golf while preserving its intent, the aforementioned beauty and the diabolical battle right there in front of you.
